I’m Gillian and the Illustrator behind A Singing Cricket. I work from my studio in Victoria, Australia and have clients worldwide.
Between nature walks and exploring rock pools, I illustrate in both watercolour and digital for children’s books, creating worlds that come to life just outside our periphery. My work has a strong emphasis on observation, atmosphere, and emotional connection, suited to thoughtful, visually beautiful forever stories.
